four pixel typefaces built for daemon, 16 cells per em.
daemon type is four pixel typefaces drawn cell by cell for use in projects:
- square stems
- open counters
- one chipped corner
- daemon display = title/header type, one weight.
- daemon mono = code face, two weights, with ligatures, lite custom nerdfont icons and stylistic sets baked in
- daemon serif & sans = experimental.
everything is a bitmap in the repo → fonts generate from them. i wanted a true bitmap but.. cant use bitmaps on macos; this type was my best shot. daemon sans and serif come off the same grid: the mono’s letters refined to their own widths, with a contrast construction of hairline serifs drawn on the same rows.
